INGREDIENTS (for 2 people)
- 1 bamboo basket **
HANDS TO THE WORK: ELABORATION
1- The first thing is to let the rice soak for half an hour. When ready we drain it to remove excess starch (at least this is what we were taught hehe).
2- We put the bamboo basket on a casserole with water and on the fire: the glutinous rice will be steamed (if you do not have glutinous rice or casserole we will cook the rice in a casserole with water of a lifetime). The rice, in both cases, will be ready in 15-20 minutes (Remember to cover the basket with its lid and put some leaves of banana or lettuce so that the rice does not fall into the water!)
4- Let the sauce cook for about 7-10 minutes stirring over low heat.
5- When the sauce is ready we remove ¼ that we will use as a topping and the rest we will throw it on the rice that will be ready.
6- Mix the coconut milk sauce and rice for about 2 minutes and let rest.
7- For the recipe to be delicious it is important that the rice is cold: so if you want, when the dish has already cooled a little you can put it in the fridge.
8- Cut the mango into strips, squares, little hearts or loquetuquierasmiamol, which tastes colors!
BON APPETIT!
** If you don't have the bamboo basket, nothing happens (almost), you can do it with a casserole of a lifetime although it loses a bit of charm huh ... but better than nothing 2.0 ^ __ ^ and if you want to invest in a kitchen instrument healthy you can find it in Chinese supermarkets (cost about 5-10 €) and you can prepare many Asian dishes such as our dear dumplings. If you do not have a nearby Chinese supermarket you can buy it in Amazon through our affiliate program (it costs you the same but we get a small% that never hurts :-p)
