We already told you everything to see and do in Los Angeles, but we still haven't told you anything about where to recharge. In this post we will recommend you 10 restaurants to eat in Los Angeles, good and cheap!

And for more recommendations, we tell you all the best things to see and do in Los Angeles.

We ate at this Thai restaurant, as it was very close to our Santa Monica hostel (at the dock's bark) and we loved it! Their dishes moved us to our beloved Thailand and that is priceless. Or rather: the Dish menu of the day costs between $ 11-14 (and there is free water). It is served between 11 and 14 from Monday to Friday. We tried a curry (massaman) and a plate of chicken teryaki (that good, more than thai is japo :-p) and both were very good!

We were recommended this site that, apparently, does one of the best chickens in the city. The advice is: pass the hamburgers and catch the $ 8 menu of ½ chicken and potatoes. Keep in mind that if you don't like picantito, you better look for another site. If you go at rush hour get ready for a possible queue, as you can imagine it is one of the favorite food stalls of the Latino community, and it is a legend! Theirs is to order it to take (there are no seats inside, there are only a few on the outside).

Another clasicazo of Los Angeles. If you feel like a good hot dog, this is your place! It's a small Simple but authentic and picturesque restaurant, of these that you could see in any American series. The menu is quite extensive but essentially based on hamburgers and hot dogs Of course! The puppy with cheese and chili costs $ 5 but there are some more complete, such as the Tha La La Land Dog, which has sausage, guacamole, diced tomatoes, bacon and sour cream ($ 8.3).

There is no Los Angeles resident who has not tried their famous snacks, or so they told us hehe (the restaurant even went on the TV show Man vs Food). You can choose the type of bread, the filling (ham, pork, veal, lamb, pastrami or turkey) and the type of cheese. The sandwiches are quite large and the price is around 8-10 $.

There are several places, but we recommend you go to the original found in the Grand Central Market of the Angels. At first glance it is another place, where they prepare breakfasts, but their big star “The slut", a egg sandwich with mashed potatoes, sauce and chives It is so rich that in several magazines it stands out as one of the cheap places to eat in Los Angeles. Tip: there are always queues, so try to go on somewhat strange schedules.

Is a food truck that prepares what many define the best tacos in Los Angeles. It has several trucks scattered around the city, but choose the one you choose will always be rich and tasty, just like the real Mexicans (the tacos, not the Mexicans). We highly recommend the tacos al pastor ($ 1.25 / each). They also prepare other typical Mexican dishes such as quesadillas or burritos, but come on ... I would go and swell to tacos of all kinds.

Not too far from Griffith park, is this Greek-Armenian restaurant which proposes combined, homemade and quality dishes, for about $ 9-12. Refrain from vegetarians: almost everything here includes a good skewer of meat (although, in honor of the truth, there are falafel and other veg-friendly dishes).

If your trip to the United States does not pass through Chicago, this pizzeria is a good alternative to try the authentic deep pizza (which almost looks more like a cake than a pizza as you know it). It fills up a lot, so unless you don't want to share it, ask for an individual ($ 10). Recommended pizza "The Main", with tomato, mozzarella, ricotta and Italian sausage.

Is he California's most famous fast food, here we serve some delicious burgers, although for us the big star are the potatoes: We have no idea how they do them but they stay crispy outside, tender inside and not greasy at all. The double hamburger costs less than $ 4. If you want potatoes and drink (you want!) The menu costs $ 6.7. There is also a "secret" menu that good ... is not so secret.

And we finished this post of 10 restaurants where to eat in Los Angeles cheaply with one of our favorite foods: dumplings! There are actually other Asian dishes, but the truth is that the house specialty is those homemade dumplings the sea of the rich. You can choose cooked dumplings, steamed or grilled. All are good but we would not doubt it: a serving of grilled pork dumplings ($ 9) and another of soup with crab and pork dumplings ($ 9.5).
