We say 10 foodie experiences to enjoy in New York not to mention 10 ways to put on your boots and go home rolling like a Rolling Stones, which sounds less fine ... but the meaning is the same: if you like to eat, here we will tell you 10 plans to enjoy the culinary culture of New York.

The piece of pizza costs $ 1This should be reason enough to recommend it, but it is also rich, greasy and rich. You may come home with a couple of extra michelines but hey, bosses of the trade.

It is not a backpackers habitat, but of backpacks and I smelled, because the views from up here on the Empire State Building and Manhattan are brutal! As far as prices are not exaggerated, for example the Hot Apple Cider costs $ 8 ($ 12 if you want a splash of vodka or rum), a Rasperry Mojito costs $ 14 ...

  • Where: 230 5th Ave, New York

Seriously, we hadn't even thought about trying milkshakes in New York and after seeing these ... jooo, we want to try them all. The problem is the price: they cost $ 15, the equivalent of 15 pizza slices… ohhhh unfair world!

The one in the photo is the Cotton candy, bless it, a strawberry milkshake with white, pink and blue chocolates, cotton candy, rocky candy, cream and a lollipop. Come on, there are few strawberries but everything else is XD.

If you want to see these beautiful monstrosities… check out their Instagram account!

  • Where: 529 Broome St, New York

We do not know if it is a fad but everyone talks about Shake Shack burgers. The chain has several stores but we want to go to the original, the one that is Madison Square... we will tell you how is it! The prices are good (hamburger from $ 5, potatoes and drinks about $ 3 each).

  • Where: Madison Square Park

Mmm, we want to try those of Gray's Papaya Apparently they are the richest in New York. But we also want to give street dogs a chance (and a thousand) ... one of the most typical and cheap street food in the city. And we love hot dogs, even those from IKEA, so we're seeing each other in more than one with a red and yellow spotted face, long live Frankfurt!

No, unlike many think, the best cupcakes in New York are not eaten at Magnolia Bakery but in Molly's Cupcake. We will have to find out, right?

  • Where: 228 Bleecker Street

Sundays in New York are synonymous with brunch and, taking advantage of the fact that we will be in Harlem in some Gospel Mass that we are sure will be a unique experience, we will put on our boots to one of the classic premises of the neighborhood, such as Sylvia's or Amy Ruth's. Objective: eat a fried chicken waffel, a typical southern specialty 🙂

I am more salty but Rober can have sweets, so we can't stop trying what many define as “the best cookie in the world”: That of Levain Bakery. Only one ... because it costs $ 4 and you know, with $ 4 we can buy 4 pieces of greasy pizza!

  • Where: 167 W 74th St, New York

So, as you hear it, there are several bareitos where if you have a beer they give you a pizza! A good example is the Crocodile lounge in the East Village, although we will tell you more about this divebar (and a few more) after visiting them in a special article

  • Where: 325 E 14th St, New York

The bagels They are rich and cheap, so we are sure that we will make good crumbs. They say the best are those of Absolute Bagels and that of salmon from Shelsky's Smoked Fish take away the peeeeero feeling the one that makes us more excited to try is the Rainbow Bagel of The Bagel Stor. Ok, it's an overdose of dyes but isn't it cute? Ok, it seems a little radioactive, but it's cool!

Obviously there are many more dining experiences in New York like taking a walk in Chealsea Market or Smorgasburg, eating a cannolo in Little Italy (or a pizza, or a plate of pasta), having a picnic in Central Park, eating a pastrami sandwich in Kat'z, eating a hamburger in a "clandestine restaurant", get hooked on the Pretzels and much more ... but we'll talk about all this on our return 🙂
