We knew we would return, whenever we leave Bangkok we know that sooner or later we will return. We cannot turn our backs on the city where it all began for us, the first destination of our first trip to Asia, the place where the change began. We can't help it, Bangkok is like our house on the other side of the world.

We know her as a tourist, backpackers, guides with Lety's parents, and this time it was mine who accompanied us. The Valerians have trusted us and without knowing the destination they got on the plane with the same illusion as two children on the way to an amusement park.

Bangkok was more or less as we remembered the first time we stepped on it, more than 6 years ago. Who would tell us then that now instead of taking 2 backpacks from the taxi would be 4! The taxi ... what a taxi! We left at 3 in the morning from Suvarnabhumi airport and what we least needed was a taxi in reserve and at a constant speed of 60 km / hour. Something strange happened to us this time with the taxi drivers, we were touched by the slow unpleasantness of the airport, the madman who stamped on a motorcycle 10 years ago and the doctor prohibited him from driving again (and he tells you so, with a smile in his mouth and looking at you while driving frantically at night), the one who suddenly stops you asking you to get out of the taxi because you got caught giving yourself a good detour, the one who was a soccer player of the second Thai until he broke his knee, which smells like him the taxi at stale feet ... and the worst, the one that on the last day 1 km from the station from where the bus leaves has a small accident (a little touch, nothing serious) with a car driven by an old man and leaves you lying in the middle of a highway ...

Eye, then we have touched some very old, polite and clean taxi. But in Bangkok you can also move one in tuctuc, in mototaxi and in the rest of public transport, we write it down to write an article dedicated to all this information, we promise! By the way, who reads this that does not think that small backpacker backpackers who move by taxi to all sides ... going by taxi in Bangkok usually goes cheaper than taking the subway or the elevated train, especially if you travel in a group! For example, a one-hour journey through the city cost us just over € 4.

Here we have been the first 4 days of a trip through Asia that will last a month (you can follow us on Facebook and Instagram), and we take the opportunity to see the typical and not so typical of Bangkok ... from its most representative temples, to the most traditional neighborhoods and originals Also the backpacking area, the area of putiferio (which is where we were staying), the financial center, street markets and shopping centers ... And Bangkok is, for us, the capital of Southeast Asia.

In a few days we will publish a guide of everything to see and do in 4 days and a guide of places to eat well and cheaply… so stay at the parrot! At the moment we leave you a few photos:

You can see the rest of the photos in the album: Bangkok 2016 with the Valerians
