Day 3: CANNES - MOUGINS - SAINT PAUL DE VENCE - NICE

Today we went down to breakfast early in the lounge of the Oxford Hotel. We have a most complete day with visits to Cannes, Mougins, Saint Paul de Vence and end in Nice.
Breakfast is served on a hotel terrace that overlooks the patio and is quite complete.
After breakfast we take the car and go straight to the Cannes Palace of Festivals and Congresses parking, where the famous is celebrated Cannes festival, one of the most important film competitions in the world.

Another of the places we travel is the Cannes croissete where we see the private beaches of the hotels and the branded fashion stores.

It took about 15 minutes to get from Cannes to Mougins. After parking and touring a part of the most tourist area, we have to say that it is beautiful, but the truth is that we expected something more.

After an hour walking through Mougins we head to Saint Paul de Vence, the great discovery of the day and possibly of this trip on the Cote d'Azur.
Upon arrival we park in a parking lot near the town and we will walk through the town.
Saint Paul de Vence is a beautiful town, nestled in a hill, which scatters before us a whole feast of art.

One of the things that catches our attention is that it is full of galleries where you can admire paintings and sculptures.

It is one of those places where you could spend hours and hours admiring its streets. Saint Paul de Vence It is that corner of the Côte d'Azur to which we will surely return one day to devote a few days.

We take the opportunity to have a drink in one of the coffee shops and with renewed energy we are heading to Expires.
We take a ride with the car and the truth is that it does not attract too much attention, so we go to a central parking lot and look for a place to eat.

After lunch we decided to go to what will be our last point of the day: Nice. It took us half an hour to get from Vence to Nice, on the highway and before going in search of our hotel we think about going to Promenade des Anglais, where we take a walk and see the beach, completely covered with pebbles.
Then we go to the old town, which reminds us a lot of the Latin Quarter of Paris, with many shops. We happen by chance with the flower market and we walk streets and streets full of shops and restaurants.

Without warning it starts to drizzle, so we decided to go to the Saint Nicholas Cathedral in Nice, an impressive Russian Orthodox cathedral where we pay the entrance and dazzle ourselves with a small but very cozy interior.

We head to Nice All Season Hotel with the idea of resting for a while before going out to dinner.
The surprise is that when we arrive they tell us that the parking is complete and that being the party of the Port today, we have to go to a parking lot that is further away.
At the end between we found the parking lot and then we return to the hotel again, not even with our friend Garmin, we avoid spending almost an hour going around.
Of course, we have to say that after we discovered that parking is only 5 minutes from the hotel, but knowing the streets to take.
After resting for a while in the room, we go to the port area to see the atmosphere of the parties a bit and we have discovered that all the restaurants and streets are full of people, so we have decided to change direction for dinner Somewhere quieter.
After 10 pm we are back at the hotel. Tomorrow has to get up early, we have one of the highlights of the trip: Monaco.
