Day 11: ZION NATIONAL PARK - GRAN CAÑON DEL COLORADO

In the early morning we leave the hotel Canyon Ranch Hotel and head to the Grand Canyon of the Colorado, to where we have 5 hours of road that we do returning to enjoy endless roads and surrounded by breathtaking landscapes.
We arrived at the Grand Canyon of the Colorado about 12 in the morning, with a terrible desire to visit one of the strongest points of this trip to the West Coast of the United States.
Our initial idea, when we prepared the itinerary, was to visit it the next day after our helicopter flight through the Colorado Canyon, but as yesterday with the visit to Zion Park after Bryce we won half a day of travel, we were able to see all the points we wanted from the Grand Canyon from the time we arrived until sunset.
Before arriving in our car to the most tourist area of the Grand Canyon we make stops at the different viewpoints enjoying the incredible views that nature is giving us.

Upon arriving at the bus area, we leave our rental car in the United States in the parking lot and take the free shuttle of one of the different routes that can be done and we get off at all the stops that it does, at the different points of the Cañón del Colorado, where we have better views every time and we are still impressed with the incredible landscapes.

It is really impressive, it is difficult to find another word to describe the feeling you have when you see it for the first time and feel so small in the face of such immensity.

The truth is that with all the stops that the shuttle makes a good tour is made by the best known and also most touristic part of the Grand Canyon.

As we see different points, we cannot stop imagining how our flight will be tomorrow, having the perspective of the Grand Canyon from the air.

From each point we stop, you have to make short walking tours to reach the View Points or viewpoints, from where with spectacular views in all of them, we find it hard to believe that this may exist.

After seeing the sunset at Mother Point, we go to our Red Feather Lodge hotel, which is at the exit of the Grand Canyon.
After checking in we will have dinner and take the opportunity to stop by Papillon, the agency with which we will do tomorrow helicopter flight through the Grand Canyon, to reconfirm our reservation the next day.
